Life’s A Lyric
A campaign imitating the hmm’s and dmm’s of trying to remember that one song but not knowing the lyrics enough to google it - in an effort to highlight Shazam’s superior music matching algorithms.
The ads follow the format of a music sheet and karaoke lines set against the everyday humour of getting to that part of the song you’ve forgotten the lyrics to, floundering around and trying to make the right noises in time.
Placed at commuter locations (bus stops, train carriages and tube platforms) whilst the audience kills time listening to music; the question-marked title of the sheet music challenges the viewer to guess the songs themselves. And if they can’t, they can Shazam it.
